My name is Sammy and I am a Floridian through and through.

I’m a 20-something wife, elementary school teacher, and mom to be in September.

My goals in life are to travel to all 50 states (and cover a good amount of the rest of the world), inspire students to become strong leaders (and readers), and soak up every ounce of sunshine Florida has to offer.

When I’m not teaching, tanning, or traveling, you can usually find me crafting, spending time with my family, or creating content for TikTok (follow me @sammyraejohnson).

I started this blog in 2014 as a way to chronicle my summer trip to Poland and have decided to use it not just to catalog my travels, but every aspect of my life. Here, you’ll find posts about what’s going on in my classroom, my adventures around the globe, the books I’m reading, my countless trips to Disney as an annual passholder, and so much more.

Hopefully when you read my blog you’ll learn something, laugh a little, and be motivated to try something new, whether it’s a book, restaurant, travel destination, hobby – you name it!
