Cricut Wedding DIYs

As I was wedding planning, I was so grateful to have my Cricut to DIY (do it yourself) so many different items for our wedding. Here are the ways I was able to use my crafting to add a personal touch to our wedding!

Bridesmaid/Groomsman Proposal Boxes

I ordered boxes on Amazon and used my Cricut to put each person’s name on the lid and the message on the underside of the lid. I also used my Cricut to put names on my bridesmaids’ wine cups and robes, as well as “groomsman” on the groomsmen’s koozies.

Denim Jacket

This trend is all over Pinterest and I decided to make my own instead of paying tons of money for someone else to make it. I got a Levi’s denim jacket at TJMaxx for $30 (originally $90) and used iron-on vinyl to put “Mrs. Johnson” on the back of the jacket and our wedding date under the collar. I also considered using my Cricut to cut out a stencil and painting my name on the back instead of using vinyl, but decided vinyl would be easier.

Table Numbers

This was one of my favorite projects! I used Pinterest for inspiration and saw how easily I could do our table numbers. I ordered these 4×6 acrylic picture frames off Amazon. I got a a few different paint colors and mixed them together to try and match the bridesmaid dresses and then just haphazardly brushed it on one side of the frames. Then, I used my Cricut to cut out the table numbers and adhered them to the other side of the frame. I’m so happy with how they turned out and was even able to sell them after the wedding!

Relationship Timeline Sign

Another Pinterest inspiration. I ordered this 18×24 plexiglass sheet from Amazon (came in a pack of 2), sprayed one side with frosted spray paint so you’d be able to read the sign better, then cut out all the words with white vinyl and stuck them on the sign.

Getting Ready Robes

I ordered plain robes on Etsy and used iron-on vinyl to add “Bridesmaid” on the back of the robes and each girl’s monogram to the front of the robe.

Something Blue

For my “something blue,” I used blue vinyl and cut out “I Do” to put on the underside of my wedding shoes.

Card Box

I got a plain card box from Amazon and used my Cricut to cut out the “cards” label for the front.

Dog Treat Table

So many Pinterest ideas! I made this personalized sign using a blank wood sign from Michael’s.

Bachelorette Party Shirts

I saw this idea on Pinterest as well and LOVED it! I made all of our shirt designs with my Cricut and iron-on vinyl.

Bridal Shower Jeopardy

I used my Cricut to cut out the headings for my bridal shower Jeopardy game. It gave it a nice polish my handwriting just cannot achieve.
